Cycles: From Fields to Cities
SMoCA's young@art gallery
Cycles: From Fields to Cities asks children from many countries to think reflectively about the current state of their city’s design, and challenges them to share how they would reconstruct and reconfigure old and new elements. Artworks range from architectural models and drawings to sculptures, animation and video, scrolls and mobiles.
In the young@art gallery in conjunction with Paolo Soleri: Mesa City to Arcosanti. Organized by the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. Co-curated by Kathleen Kupper, instructor and co-founder of the Vitruvius Program, an architecture and design program based at Summit School in Ahwatukee, Arizona.
The young@art gallery is located in the building adjacent to SMoCA, inside the Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts.
