Liz Cohen was born in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1973. In 1996 she received a BA from Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts, and a BFA from the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She received an MFA in 2000 from the California College of Arts and Crafts in San Francisco. Recent group exhibitions include Are you experienced? Fuori Uzo 2006 at Altered States in Pescara, Italy, and Chopped, Chromed and Customized at the Center for Contemporary Art in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Cohen lives and works in Phoenix, and is represented by Galerie Laurent Godin in Paris.
