Hans Op de Beeck was born in Turnhout, Belgium, in 1969. He received an MA from the Higher Institute at Sint-Lukas in Brussels in 1996. Recent exhibitions include All together now... at Argos in Brussels, which traveled to Ronmandos Galerie in Amsterdam, Extensions at Galleria Continua in San Gimignano, Italy, and The Leading Thread at the Centro de Arte Caja de Burgos in Spain. Location (5), 2008, is a permanent installation at the Towada Art Center in Japan. Op de Beeck lives and works in Brussels, and is represented by Xavier Hufkens Gallery in Brussels, Galleria Continua in San Giminiano, Galerie Krinzinger in Vienna, and Ron Mandos Galerie in Amsterdam.
