Ahmet Ögüt was born in Divarbakr, Turkey, in 1981. He received a BA from Hacettepe University in Ankara in 2003 and an MA from Yildiz Teknik University in Istanbul in 2006. Recent exhibitions include Softly But Firmly at the Galerija Miroslav Kraljevic in Zagreb, Croatia, Petroliana at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, and Ahmet Ögüt at 404 Arte Contemporanea in Naples. Ögüt lives and works in Istanbul and in Amsterdam, and is represented by the Rodeo Gallery in Istanbul.
