MARCH 2009

Thank you SMoCA Docents!
SMoCA docents are trained volunteers who share their knowledge with museum visitors, and at schools, retirement homes and community groups. SMoCA would like to thank our more than 90 docent volunteer corps for their countless hours served and tireless dedication.

Viewing event descriptions requires that your browser allow pop-ups from www.smoca.org. Mouse over the event and click once to open a pop-up window with complete information. If your browser is set to block pop-up windows you will see an alert at the top of this page which you will then need to click on to "allow pop-ups" from this site. You should only have to do this once for the entire site. If you continue to have problems, follow the instructions at the bottom of this page.

If you are using Firefox, go to the tools menu and select the last item: "options", a dialogue box will appear, from here highlight the third tab named "content." The very first item in the list is "block pop-up windows", open the dialogue box to the right named "exceptions." In the exceptions box enter www.smoca.org and click on "allow", then close the box and select "ok" in the original options box. Event pop-ups from our site will work once you complete this step.

If you are using Internet Explorer and the yellow content filter did not appear at the top of this page when you clicked on an event, go to the tools menu and select the second option, "pop-up blocker", a menu will appear to the right that says, "pop-up blocker settings." Open this dialogue box by clicking on it; at the very top you will see a place to enter the address of a website, type in www.smoca.org and click on "add." Choose "close" at the bottom of the dialogue box and pop-ups from our website will now work on your computer.
