Not really so simple: sculpture from the permanent collection
  Print This Page
Email This Page

Even the simplest, most straightforward sculptural forms often harbor rich associations, upon due reflection. On view in this installation are evocative abstractions by Dale Chihuly, Charles Fine, Howard Ben Tré and Howard Werner as well as a monumental drawing by sculptor Robert Stackhouse, given by Scott Robertson in honor of Stephanie and Frank Jacobson.

Sponsored by the SMoCA Salon.

Howard Werner, Ash Bench, 1985, ash, 62 x 55 x 33 inches. Collection of the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art. Gift of the artist.
