An Active Laboratory

Established in 2011, as a dynamic art installation designed for community engagement, SMoCA Lounge serves as the Museum’s venue for public events. It offers a flexible space for artist’s talks, musical performances, literary explorations, creative competitions, book discussions, other experimental happenings and even dance parties. A unique space living inside a contemporary art museum, the Lounge is the perfect venue for cocktail parties, stimulating meetings, theatre rehearsals, and any special event you can dream up!
