The Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art [SMoCA] is an exceptional location for private receptions, lectures and other gatherings. The Museum's outdoor sculpture garden features two major works of art: James Turrell's Knight Rise, one of the internationally acclaimed artist's few public "skyspaces," and Scrim Wall, a monumental curtain of prismatic glass by James Carpenter Design Associates. With its elegant lobby, SMoCA is able to accommodate a cocktail reception for up to 300 people. Your guests may also enjoy the Museum's five galleries, which offer changing exhibitions of contemporary art, architecture and design. An evening at SMoCA is always a unique and memorable experience.
